Stir Fried Beef with Asparagus, Ginger & Spring Onions

Ready to cook meal kit for 2 pax. All ingredients with recipe will be provided except for basic condiments oil, salt and pepper. Simple steps for beginners. Under 40 minutes.


  • 200 grams beef eye round steak, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 inch ginger, peeled and thinly shredded
  • 3 stalks spring onion sliced
  • 1 teaspoon corn flour
  • 200 grams asparagus sliced

Ingredients for Sauce:

  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon maggi seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 4 tablespoons water
  • 1 teaspoon corn flour
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 dashes white pepper powder


  1. Marinate sliced beef with the corn flour for 10 minutes. Combine all the Sauce ingredients, mix well and set aside.
  2. In a wok, heat up the oil until very high heat, stir-fry shredded ginger until fragrant. Toss in beef slices and asparagus continue to stir-fry for a few minutes, or until beef is cooked. Add in the Sauce and stir-fry a couple of times or until the sauce thickens. Add in the spring onions, stir dish out and serve with steamed rice.
